Scheduled Maintenance

Maintenance work typically includes the inspection or replacement of gearbox and hydraulic oils, filters, accumulators, carbon brushes, or lightning protection modules. This is complemented by regular expert inspections of ladders, access systems (annually), cranes, and lifting points (intervals depend on operational duration).

These tasks are usually accompanied by checks to verify the stability of the following components:

• Foundation structure
• Tower segments
• Gondola
• Blades

Optimally performed maintenance means:

• Complete execution of necessary maintenance tasks (checklists, protocols)
• Minimizing downtime of individual wind turbines
• Complete, detailed documentation
• Development of an optimized maintenance scope, considering manufacturer specifications and WTG-specific historical data
• Creation and review of work instructions, risk assessments, and checklists
• Optimized scheduling (e.g., through parallelization of work steps)
• Optimized planning of tools and materials, including spare parts management
• Optimized use of teams and ship capacities
